It's that time to tune up those bikes and toss those riding duds in the wash, you won't need them for the World Naked Bike Ride in San Francisco. It's the 4th WNBR of the year. We meet near the Ferry Building on Embarcadero in an open public area to the north and between the Farmer's Market and the Starbucks. We will begin meeting there at AM. Please remained dressed until we have sufficient numbers of riders and are near the time we will ride.

The ride begins Saturday at 11 a. From there, the stripped cyclists will travel through iconic San Francisco areas like Fisherman's Wharf, the Marina, Lombard Street, North Beach, Civic Center, Haight-Ashbury and the Castro, although riders can join at any point, according to organizers. While the ride is billed as a naked one, organizers encourage participants to wear "creative fashion with clear bubble wrap or translucent vinyl. Previous naked bike rides have never garnered citations or complaints, organizers said, but they recommend that totally nude riders bring a beach wrap, shorts, or a sarong just in case a quick cover-up is needed.
